Art Walk 2025 Lights Up Downtown Cornwall with Creativity and Connection

July 4, 2025

Downtown Cornwall was bursting with colour, creativity, and community spirit during this year’s Cornwall Art Walk, one of the city's most anticipated cultural events. Despite a few last-minute vendor cancellations due to weather worries, the event still featured an impressive lineup of local talent — with 72 vendors originally booked and thousands of visitors filling the streets.

An estimated 3,000 to 4,000 people came out to explore artist booths, enjoy live performances, and experience the unique charm of downtown Cornwall. From handcrafted goods and original artworks to interactive installations and pop-up performances, the Art Walk offered something inspiring around every corner.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Cornwall Downtown BIA, organizers were able to level up the event like never before, booking high-quality entertainment and running a wider advertising campaign that helped attract both locals and visitors from beyond the city.

“The support from the DBIA was key this year,” organizers shared. “It allowed us to dream a little bigger, promote the event more broadly, and create a truly memorable night for the whole community.”

The atmosphere was electric as musicians played, artists demonstrated their craft live, and families wandered the streets taking it all in. Local businesses joined in on the fun too, staying open late and offering special promotions to celebrate the evening.

If you missed it — or just want to relive the magic — you can find a gallery of images from the night on the Cornwall Art Walk Facebook page, showcasing everything from bustling vendor booths to glowing street performances.

With another successful year in the books, Cornwall Art Walk continues to prove that art isn’t just something we hang on walls — it’s something that brings us together.
