This Friday is Cornwall’s first Night Market, proudly orchestrated by Dana Gunn, owner of DG Vintage, a sustainable curated vintage shop in downtown Cornwall.
Fifty vendors are expected to set up in and around the pop-up containers on the corner of First & Pitt. The event shows nearly three thousand people have responded that they’re interested, and almost five hundred will attend.
Of course, one can never tell what the turnout will be, and that’s where you come in!
The DBIA would love to see your support of this independent event happening between 4 pm and 10 pm on Friday, August 12th.
Local shops and restaurants on the Pitt Street Promenade have been invited to participate, and it’s expected that many will be open late for your shopping convenience.
Their event page has announced that vendors will come from Cornwall, SDG, Brockville, Ottawa, Montreal, and the GTA, so there’s sure to be something new for all to explore. Attendees can expect a mix of vintage, jewelry, food, bath & beauty products, crochet, plants, home decor, candles, beadwork, oddities and more!
Plus, they’ll have a live DJ playing some favourite throwbacks and Spilt Photography hosting a photo booth.
Planning events is no easy feat. We appreciate seeing members of the DBIA jump in to make it happen. We hope the community will come to support their event to continue encouraging small business leaders to create unique events for all to enjoy.
For the list of confirmed vendors, take a look at their more recent FB Post for details!
Members of the DBIA and the community are welcome to host their own events in the downtown district. Connect with our team for resources and support.
