Bud's Records
Originally founded in March 2019 by local musician Larry "Bud" O’Byrne, the shop was taken over by his close friends Jason Lavoie and Emily Restoule following Bud's tragic passing in 2020 to keep his legacy alive. The store grew out of its original Eleventh Street East location and celebrated its grand reopening at its current, larger Pitt Street location in late 2024. The shop frequently collaborates with local venues like the Port Theatre to host community events, including retro LaserDisc movie nights.
